If weather conditions prevent an employee from working as scheduled, leave taken due to inclement weather is charged to vacation leave, personal holiday, accrued compensatory time, or leave without pay according to the position's collective bargaining agreement or employment program.

In the event the University suspends operations, all non-essential employees are asked to stay home. All employees at Genome Sciences are considered non-essential when referencing the suspended operations policy.
