Starting with the incoming class of 2016, first year students will not give Journal Club presentations. Your first journal club presentation will be in Winter Quarter or early Spring of your second year (the goal being to get this done earlier so that it does not interfere with your general exam preparations). You will be contacted to sign up the summer prior.

Students who are not affiliated with the Medical Scientist Training Program (MD / PhD) will give a brief (10 minute) rotation research presentation each quarter. These will be scheduled as part of the Research Reports series during the last two weeks of the quarter. Please check the Research Reports schedule for your presentation date.

Second year students and first year students from the MSTP will give Research Reports presentations during Autumn Quarter. First year MSTP students are included because they have already selected thesis labs. Please see the second year section for more information.
