Vacation Time

Faculty, academic staff and senior fellows at the University of Washington are not eligible to receive or accrue vacation. However…

  • Senior fellows and academic staff hired on a 12-month basis are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period. One month is available for paid time off. Individuals should work with their lab to arrange time off in advance.

  • Record keeping is managed at the local level. Labs should coordinate procedures through their Departments.
