Following is a list of local organizations that support entrepreneurship and start-up companies:

AI2 Incubator 
The AI2 Incubator is a pre-seed startup incubator that specializes in helping founders from research, engineering, health, science, or bio backgrounds build their vision into a high-growth startup with AI playing a major role. Through their deep expertise and strategic relationship with AI2—a world-class AI research institute—they support entrepreneurs in turning technological and scientific advances into impactful products and companies.

  • WRF
    WRF Capital is the investment vehicle for Washington Research Foundation. We invest up to $10 million annually in startup companies based in Washington, with a focus on spinouts from nonprofit research institutions in our state: UW, WSU, Fred Hutch and ISB, among many others.

  • Pack Ventures
    A pre-seed and seed venture fund investing in bold founders from the University of Washington network and beyond

  • CoMotion
    • CoMotion partners with the UW community on their innovation journey, providing tools, connections, and acumen to transform ideas into economic and societal impact.

    • Creative Destruction
      For founders solving biological, medical, and healthcare problems using innovative applications of software, data science, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence.

    WE-REACH
    The Center for Washington Entrepreneurial Research Evaluation & Commercialization Hub (WE-REACH) provides teaching and funding tools to accelerate the development of therapeutic, device, and diagnostic products to address significant challenges in health.

    Nucleate
    Nucleate is a free and collaborative student-led organization that facilitates the formation of pioneering life sciences companies. Nucleate's Activator program is built by trainees for trainees to help bridge the gap between academic research and venture creation, with teams exploring their technology's commercialization potential under the mentorship of industry experts.
