1:30 - 3:00 - Mini symposium – “Perspectives on Human Genetics”, Drs. Arno Motulsky, Mary-Claire King, Maynard Olson (30 minutes each)

3:00 - 3:45 - Break

3:45 - 4:45 - Presentations: Drs. Stan Fields, Barbara Trask, Willie Swanson, George Martin

4:45 - 5:00 - Break (no refreshments)

5:00 - 6:00 - Presentations: Drs. Bill Noble, Hannele Ruohola-Baker, Chris Amemiya

6:00 - 7:30 - Dinner

7:45 – 8:00 - Introduction of New Students

8:00 - 9:30 - Keynote address by Dr. Zoloth: "Difficult Freedoms: Research, Bioethics and Policy"

9:30 – 11:00 - Social hour: beer & wine bar, desserts

1:30 - 3:30 - Faculty meeting (Regular Faculty Only), meet in the Chart Room, located upstairs in the Harbor Restaurant building

1:30 – 6:00 - All others: free time

5:30 – 6:00 - Students meet with Dr. Bob Waterston, meet in large conference room

6:00 -7:30 - Dinner

Wednesday, September 25:

12:00 - Adjourn, pick up boxlunch, and depart Pt. Ludlow
